Audi Master Automotive Technician (Maricopa, AZ) Description: Kett Engineering is currently looking for an Audi Master Technician to support vehicle durability test operations at our customer location in Maricopa, AZ. The individual chosen for this position will be required to perform basic, as well as top end mechanical and safety inspections, diagnosis and repairs of all vehicle systems, as well as various duties for the U.S. Audi Test Fleet at the APG. This role supports the Test Fleet Coordinator in managing the local test fleet activities and in identifying as many potential US customer problems as possible. This person will report directly to the Audi Test Fleet Engineer. Duties include: Provide technical support to the AUDI US test fleet. Ability to follow highly detailed and technical procedures. Update test fleet vehicles to the latest technical level. Test and determine causes of problems identified in test vehicles. Maintain and repair test vehicles. Document all repairs and modifications to test vehicles. Diagnose and repair of all vehicle electrical and mechanical systems. Flashing of various car systems. Diagnostic read outs utilizing development software and tools. Organize and maintain a clean workshop environment including tools and supplies. Support AUDI AG test teams and engineering groups as needed. Have the ability to communicate and coordinate testing and outcomes with the general public. Must be physically able to perform heavy work such as tire changes, transmission removals, etc. The ability to work in a team atmosphere. Good written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attendance is a must. Must be flexible and available to work on other shifts, overtime and odd hours including Saturdays and Sundays, as required. Other miscellaneous tasks, as assigned. Desired Qualifications: Minimum 5 years Audi mechanical experience. Current ASE Master Certifications in various disciplines. A diploma from an automotive trade school or college. Ability to apply logical thinking and decision making based on procedures and guidelines supplied in the various task assignments. Flexibility to perform numerous tasks as requested.
