In other cases, we may process Personal Information based on our legitimate business interests. Kett Engineering does not collect, use, or sell Personal Information for the purpose of training large language models.
VI. Your Communication Choices
Through our third-party provider, you may receive automated text messages if you apply for a job with us through our careers webpage. You may opt out of receiving these automated text messages by replying “STOP” to the message or by contacting us.
Based on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding your Personal Information (see further information in the Your Privacy Rights section below).
VII. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your state or country of residency, you may have certain privacy rights, subject to certain exceptions, as follows:
- Right to Access. You may have the right to request that we disclose what Personal Information we collect, use, disclose, and sell about you.
- Right to Correction. You may have the right to request correction of Personal Information that we maintain about you if you find that the Personal Information is inaccurate.

- Right to Appeal. In some circumstances, we may deny your request to exercise one of your privacy rights described in this Privacy Policy (e.g., if we cannot verify your identity). In such a case, we will communicate this in writing and explain the reasons for the denial. You may appeal our decision by responding to our denial email or submitting a request to Privacy@KettEng.com. We will notify you of our decision regarding your appeal in writing via an email from Privacy@KettEng.com within 45 days of receipt. If we deny your appeal, you may have the right to contact your state Attorney General to file a complaint.
We do not engage in profiling activities that further automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects; however, to the extent your Personal Information is ever used in that way, you additionally may have the right to opt-out of profiling activity that furthers an automated decision producing legal or similarly significant effects, and the right to information on profiling if any profiling is done for the purposes of an automated decision that produces legal or similarly significant effect, including to question the results of profiling, to be informed of the reason profiling resulted in a particular decision, to review your Personal Information that was processed for the purposes of profiling, to correct incorrect Personal Information processed for profiling and to have the profiling decision reevaluated accordingly.
VIII. EEA Privacy Rights
If you are a resident of EEA, you have the right to access your Personal Information, to receive a copy, to ask for erasure, correction, and portability of your Personal Information, or to object to the processing of your Personal Information. For all processing operations that are based on your consent, as described above, you can withdraw consent at any time, and we will stop those processing operations. All processing of your Personal Information based on your consent before withdrawal remains lawful. In order to be able to reply to your request and if we are not certain of your identity, we may need to ask you for further identification data to be used only for the purposes of replying to your request. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Kett Engineering does not engage in automated decision making or profiling using your Personal Information.
IX. Exercising Your Privacy Rights
Requests to exercise these rights may be made using the contact information listed at the end of this Privacy Policy. Only you or, as permitted by law, a person that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a request related to your Personal Information. For certain requests, we must verify your request before we can fulfill it. Verifying your request will require you to provide sufficient information for us to reasonably confirm that you are the person about whom we collected Personal Information or that the requestor is authorized to act on your behalf. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
X. Information About Children
The Site is not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information via the Site from visitors in this age group. If you believe that we have unintentionally collected Personal Information about your child, you can contact us by mail or email as described below.

PRIVACY NOTICE FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS
I. CCPA Categories of Personal Information We Collect, How and Why We Collect Them
We collect the following categories of Personal Information about California consumers. This information may be, or may have been, collected directly from you, automatically when you use our Services, from third parties, or from publicly available sources.
- Identifiers, including real name, alias, postal address, unique personal identifier, online identifier, IP address, email address, account name, Social Security number, driver’s license number, or other similar identifiers.

- Audio, electronic, visual, thermal, olfactory, or similar information, including audio recordings of customer calls and webinars, in-vehicle video, audio recordings and radiocommunications from test vehicles used in the field, proving-ground CCTV, photos taken during testing.
- Professional or employment-related information, including business contact information as well as information collected from job applicants during the hiring process including resumes, cover letters, education history, employment history, driver certifications, and background check information.
- Non-public education information, including transcripts or other information which may be collected during the hiring process.
- Inferences used to create a profile reflecting the consumer’s preferences, characteristics, psychological trends, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, abilities, and aptitudes.
- Sensitive Personal Information, including information collected and analyzed concerning an employee’s health; account log-credentials; precise geolocation; and citizenship or immigration status, race, and ethnicity (job applicant context only). To the extent we collect sensitive personal information, we may use it (namely, information concerning a consumer’s health) for purposes of inferring characteristics about a consumer.
We use the Personal Information we collect for the purposes described in the Information Use section of our Privacy Policy.
